Agrisicilia’s organic Honeydew Honey is collected on wild plants and shrubs in the Sicilian and Calabrian highlands, generally during the summer months. Available in 300-gram jars.
Although it does not taste very sweet, this type of honey has significant beneficial properties for the body: it is considered a good source of iron, plus it has a lower glycemic index than other types of honey. Finally, it also seems to have good antibacterial properties.

Organoleptic characteristics:
- Physical state: this honey is normally liquid, with a thick, stringy consistency.
- Color: dark amber to black.
- Odor: medium intensity of vegetable/fruity type.
- Taste: not very sweet, with vegetal/fruity, malt aroma; lingering.
Storage: After opening, the product should be stored at temperatures between 15 and 18 degrees. Keep away from direct light sources and also from all possible heat sources.
Minimum shelf life: 24 months.
Suggestions for use: with a yogurt or a drink, organic honeydew honey is generally a good digestive.
