Poor origins for a refined recipe

The use of squid ink stems from the need of fishermen to avoid any waste of the raw material. Thus, caught cuttlefish were cooked with their tasty black ink. Our recipe is meant to be respectful of these poor origins, but at the same time it is a refined condiment for your pasta dishes.

Squid ink goes with everything

With pasta, with gnocchi, in risotto. Black is said to go with everything; the same goes for squid ink. Linguine is the format that goes best with this sauce, but our tasty sauce is perfect for pairing with potato gnocchi or for quick and easy cooking of extraordinary squid ink risottos.

MAKE YOUR DISH UNIQUE: A Sprinkling of Fennel

Fennel is an ingredient that many Sicilians keep in their pantry. On fish dishes it is at its best, and even on squid ink risotto it guarantees the enhancement of flavors. After serving, shred the fennel and scatter it over the risotto before serving on the table. A few affordable steps for a fresh note that makes all the difference.
