Rosso Giasira is our red blend wine, obtained from a perfect balance of Nero d’Avola and Merlot grapes, which give it great harmony and pleasantness.
Tasting notes
View: intense ruby red color
Smell: fresh, elegant with a bouquet rich in red fruits and vegetable notes
Taste: full and savoury, with a delicate polyphenolic structure, softness and persistence, which make it extraordinarily drinkable
Pairings: excellent with vegetable timbales, pizza, semi-mature cheeses and unprocessed main courses.

Soil and climate: Calcareous soils, at an altitude between 180 and 250 m a.s.l., Mediterranean climate with significant temperature variations between day and night

Harvest: manual harvest in the second fortnight of September
Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel, with long maceration on the skins at controlled temperature
Refinement: maturation in steel and a small part in 225 liter barriques for 9 months and refinement in the bottle for 3 months
