A ready-made pesto that combines two iconic Sicilian ingredients, its delicate flavour makes it perfect for many quick and easy dishes. We have developed a milling process that avoids grinding the seed, but at the same time preserves its aromatic oils.

A ready-made pesto that combines two iconic Sicilian ingredients, its delicate flavour makes it perfect for many quick and easy dishes. We have developed a milling process that avoids grinding the seed, but at the same time preserves its aromatic oils.
The first ingredient is fragrance: unlike other pestos, we chose not to use garlic in our pistachio and almond pesto. All the flavour we were looking for is already in the very few ingredients of the recipe, carefully processed to preserve the most characteristic scents of Sicily in each jar.

When pizza goes green:What if for once pizza was not red, but green? We like to use Santoro’s Pesto of Pistachios and Almonds instead of tomato puree, making the pizza even more delicious with mozzarella – in Sicily it is made with buffalo milk – fresh basil leaves and extra virgin olive oil.

MAKE YOUR PLATE UNIQUE

Enhancing the pesto with salted ricotta: It only takes a few steps to enhance the flavours of pistachio and almond pesto. Pour a few tablespoons into a non-stick pan, heat over very low heat and immediately drain the al dente pasta in the pan. Add just enough cooking water to obtain the right tenderness; a generous grating of salted ricotta cheese lends flavour to the dish.
