SICILIAN ORANGE HONEY IN BRIEF

Organoleptic characteristics:

  • Physical state: spontaneously crystallises a few months after harvest.
  • Colour: Almost colourless to straw yellow in the liquid state, white, sometimes pearly, to beige in the solid state.
  • Smell: Very characteristic; floral, fragrant, fresh reminiscent of Zagara flowers.
  • Taste: Normally sweet and aromatic.

 

Suggestions for use: ideal for use in yoghurt or in the preparation of biscuits and cakes.
