The Ciaculli mandarin, grown in the very hamlet of Ciaculli in Palermo, is called “late” because it is harvested last. Although it is the last to be harvested, it is definitely first for its extraordinary qualities: this southern citrus fruit is rich in vitamins, stimulates digestion and also has remarkable antioxidant properties.
