SICILIAN THYME HONEY IN BRIEF

Organoleptic characteristics:

  • Physical state: Crystallises spontaneously fairly quickly resulting in, very
    often, to a compact mass with fine or medium-sized crystals.
  • Colour: Amber yellow to dark amber.
  • Smell: Very characteristic; caramel.
  • Taste: Normally sweet, reminiscent of olfactory sensations

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably at +8 C – +12 C. Keep away from heat and light sources.

Minimum shelf life: 24 months.

Suggestions for use: ideal for use in yoghurt or in the preparation of biscuits and cakes.
